Beam & Pipe Splitting

BEAM & PIPE SPLITTING

What is Pipe Splitting?

Splitting pipe and tube has to be done with precision, marking and cutting to ensure that the end result is two 180-degree segments. Our system for cutting pipe produces high quality and consistent products. Splitting pipe is useful for bracing or covering existing pipe in split casing application, split steel pipe sleeve, and half pipe sleeves (for half sole pipeline repair specifications per ASME B31.8) used to repair leaks or bent to provide contoured pipe shielding. Pipe splitting can be done with all common piping materials including PVC, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Alloy steel.

What is Beam Splitting?

Beam splitting is the process of cutting a wide flange beam down the web yielding a pair of tee’s not produced by mills. Our fully programmable Beam Splitting machines can split an I-beam up to 24” wide and our specialty in house procedures ensure that they are cut straight and true every time!
With our commitment to quality and service we have multiple cutting stations with a QA/QC Program that ensures processed orders ship quickly with highly accurate cuts.
